Design centers in the U.S., Germany and India have achieved ISO 27001 certification for information security HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(June 14, 2018)—ADTRAN®, Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN), the leading provider of next-generation open networking solutions, today announced it has been certified as an ISO 27001 company by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) for its design centers around the world. This certification supports ADTRAN’s commitment to being a trusted partner to service providers around the world as they deploy open, programmable networks. ISO 27001 is the international specification for an information security management system (ISMS) used to protect companies and ensure the integrity of company data and systems. It provides a standardized framework to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details and information provided by trusted third-party partners. ADTRAN’s certification covers its global centers in Berlin and Greifswald, Germany; Hyderabad, India; and Huntsville, Alabama. Key attributes of ISO 27001 Certification include:
